Causes: Human Services
Mission: Our mission is to work with local organizations and utilize local resources to provide comfortable and functional furniture and home furnishings to individuals and families experiencing difficult life circumstances. We are here to improve the home living environment of orphaned and fostered children, widows and widowers, single moms with children, and those affected by poverty, homelessness, domestic violence and hardships.
Results: Our vision is that all persons and families experiencing hardship and difficult life circumstances will have access to home furnishing that meets their individual home living needs; enjoy an improved home living environment; experience a better quality of life; receive renewed lives; gain rest, recovery and restored HOPE!
Target demographics: families, single moms with children, foster kids, homeless, victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, veterans,
Direct beneficiaries per year: 250 families in 12 North Georgia Counties
Geographic areas served: partnership with homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, human trafficking safe houses, veteran, and foster organizations to house and furnish apartments for individuals and families that have been victims or are in a difficult life situations.
Programs: giving beds and bedroom furniture, living room furniture, kitchen furniture, and giving bedding, bath, kitchen and housewares to families in need.
