The HomeMore Project is a wonderful and well structured organization determined to create data driven change in many Californian communities. With many success stories already made thanks to HomeMore and many more to come especially as the organization continues to grow and improve, I’m so proud to be a part of this nonprofit
I got a solar backpack from this organization and it has been a lot of help for me. There is no where to charge my phone in san francisco, most business dont let me charge my phone there. So this backpack has helped me keep my phone charged and i can talk to my friends family and case mananger.
I witnessed this organization at Dignity Day in Vallejo, California in Solano County and their backpacks are amazing. They distributed 50 backpacks on Saturday September 14th and it was a great event. The solar is awesome and so important to help charge devices. Thanks!!!
This is a wonderful organization dedicated to improving the lives of the unhoused throughout California. I am proud to be part of this determined, hardworking and mission focused group.
I started working with the HomeMore project this year during my Spring semester and have enjoyed every single moment of it. Having the opportunity to grow within my writing through monthly articles on the "LearnMore Blog" has helped me academically through my classes.
Also, I love having a strong connection to the organization because it is one of the main foundations helping me with career advice outside of the platform. Having meetings with the team has shown me that I can achieve my dreams and goals as well as come out of college having a successful career. This has been a wonderful experience working here that I will always remember.
The Homemore Project has grown from an idea a few years ago to a wonderful organization of dedicated people - laser focused on making a meaningful impact on the growing homeless issues in our world. I am proud to have contributed a small part of that success and look forward to seeing the innovative strategies of the organization come to life over the coming years.

More than merely giving out relief backpacks, The HomeMore Project does a fantastic job building lasting connections with the unhoused community. Their Makeshift Traveler backpack reflects this effort - a lot of its features were integrated based on the direct needs of the community in San Francisco. I am very grateful to have volunteered for such a passionate and innovative group!

This is an amazing non profit that is doing real work to help the homeless and it's been a pleasure to work with them since the beginning of the year! The Makeshift traveler backpack is already adding tons of value to hundreds of homeless people, helping them find services they need, work and more. And this is just the beginning in truly providing holistic solutions centered around the needs of the homeless, that also improve conditions for other city dwellers. Under the steady, passionate and thoughtful leadership of Zac Clark, this non profit is going to help tens of thousands of lives, and I'm grateful to be a tiny part of the journey.

HomeMore for the HomeLess. Working with HomeMore Project has been one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life. HomeMore developed makeshift traveller, a solar power enabled backpack in a short span of 2 years, exclusively built keeping in mind the needs of the homeless. We have had a positive impact on several homeless families in San Francisco, by distributing over 500 backpacks in the first one year of its inception and its just the beginning. We have big plans to expand the program to not just San Francisco but other regions within California.

My name is Ishmail Sithole .Im a Christian. I grew up raised by a single mom . GOD has been performing miracles in my life from young. When I finished grade 7 I couldn't go to school because my mother couldn't afford the fees and new uniform. I spent the year staying at home. GOD blessed me with skills. I had friends whose parents were rich so during the weekends when I visit my friends I used to fix things in the house , broken cupboards, and doing gardening. The begining of next year that family took me to school. I went to a school that was more expensive than any of thier children because they couldn't find a cheaper school in the neighbourhood.!!! After high school I didn't go to college because I wanted to get a job and look after my mom and siblings. I was employed by a bus manufacturing company as a general hand.withing 6 months I was promoted to a cardex clerk and within 3 years I was promoted 3 times until the company closed because of political instability. I got married and eventually moved to South Africa. In South Africa I looked and worked so many piece jobs until I was found by directors of a company were I was helping some guys to install tiles and painting. They were so interested in me they offerd me a job as a salesman. Commission based. As a hard worker and grace of the Lord upon me within 1 year I rose as the top salesman within our branch and the next year I was the top salesman in the country . The company I was working for for 10 years was affected by the covid 19 pandemic and it shut down. I lost so much including mostly my wife of 23 years. She dirvoved me. I didn't have any income and she couldn't bear it. I went to a company that was manufacturing Windows and asked to come and help whilst I learn. They allowed me to learn for 7 months without pay. I'm so grateful I managed to acquire so much knowledge and able to start making any type of aluminium window from scratch to the finish. With God's Grace I was able to buy my own equipments and start my own bussiness. I would like to join your organisation so that I can help in construction as a window fabricator. GOD has done so many miracles in my life a would like to be a miracle to someone also in life. I here to volunteer in any project that is available as a fabricator.May you all be blessed. I believe GOD will restore all I lost sevenfolds. My email is ishkays.k1@gmail.com
