Causes: Education
Mission: The mission of the highland park education foundation and alumni association is to actively seek resources and relationships to assist in the preservation and enrichment of quality education throughout the highland park independent school district and to protect the heritage and tradition of hpisd by maintaining relationships between the alumni and their schools.
Programs: The foundation provides significant funding for teacher salaries and various student related activities, materials and resources across all campuses. The foundation oversees grant implementation of the moody innovation institute, a steam initiative enhancing academic programs at all grade levels. Also, the foundation awards scholarships to graduating seniors. In addition, the foundation awards 7 teacher of the year awards and grants for new leadership initiatives for teachers.
