I attended a Juneteenth event at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park, that is hosted by Heroes of Humanity Foundation. First of all, it’s a completely free event, that has food, all kinds of entertainment. From music, comedy, poetry, guest speakers, dancers, low riders, toy giveaways, social services, adult prizes giveaways. Did I mention this is all for free. They believe in bringing people together from all walks of life in fun, love, and unity. This is a cultural event that educates the community on race relations and cultural history. It’s amazing and definitely something everyone most attend.

Heroes of Humanity Foundation host a Christmas Day toy and food giveaway at Monrovia Regional Park for the past two years that get no attention. They have been making hundreds of kids happy by passing out toys, cloths and getting dinners to families.
