Nonprofit Overview
Causes: LGBT Centers, LGBTQ
Mission: Henderson Equality Center, a community supported organization to engage, empower, enrich, and advance the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, allies and queer community of Henderson, NV by providing a safe space, pursue resources and providing courses focus on educational, social, support, skill building and job assistance classes for at-risk, low-income LGBTQ youth and adults. Henderson Equality Center provides gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individuals, their families and supporters in Henderson, NV with resources and opportunities to promote visibility, understanding, and equality within the LGBT communities and the community at large. Henderson Equality Center will work toward these goals through education, social support, networking, and advocacy. Henderson Equality Center is under its own 501c3 status. All donations are tax deductible. Our new office location and vision represents our effort on inclusion and intersectionalism throughout the community and we look forward to serving the Henderson, NV LGBTQIA+ community for many years to come.
