Mission: The purpose of helping hands of benton county is to serve the community, to offer aid and assistance to individuals in need of material, financial, moral and spiritual support in emergency situations.
Programs: Provide financial support to local families to help them meet the needs of basic shelter, food, living, and emergency medical expenses. Some of the services offered are: rental assistance, assistance with utility bills, help with doctor visits and prescriptions, help with transportation expenses, food pantry. In 2017 helping hands provided $1,324,536 in assistance to more than 14,511 families with the average family size of 4. 5 persons for an estimated total of 65,300 people.
