Fell for Maggie Lane-Baker's sob stories of her hardships when her husband was jailed and let her and her 3 teens move into our home for 5 months. It was specified to her that there should be no pets allowed in doors. They ruined our carpet due to cat and dog feces and urine, most window screens were gone, feces on wall. Ended up with scratches on doors and walls of master bedroom and bathroom due to dog(s) being left in rooms. She was to reimburse us for utilities that we p aid and has yet to make good on her word. She has not replied to any of my calls, texts or messenger. Called her today and she hung up on me. She is a thief and absolutely dishonest in all her dealings. Placed this information on Facebook and she had it removed as I was trying to alert our community Show Low, AZ of her grifting. She is a professional con artist. DO NOT get involved with her.

I should have read the awful reviews before I trusted Maggie Baker with any type of donation or money! She was instrumental in getting Peaches from a local farmer at a good price...I was really suckered in at how nice she was up until I put money into her PayPal account. I tried contacting her when I didn't receive my peaches but I have not been able to get ANY response from her. If any one else has a complaint...Paypal gave me her phone number 480-248-9424. I called and let it ring until the just stopped ringing! She gave me a complaint that there were to many orders to reimburse me which was in May. It's December and I haven't heard one word from her! I hope the old adage rings true for Ms. Baker...what goes around, comes around!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! I am one of the two who obtained a court judgment against HIH. I've had their website suspended until they remove all mention of my project, as they refused to do so and continued to steal from the unsuspecting public. I am now attempting to collect the monetary judgment of $9,825 which includes court costs and a $5,000 grant issued by the Pepsi Refresh Challenge. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE - THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS.

Help is Here started out acting responsibly but then began to refuse to disburse appropriately requested funds without reason. They have defrauded private donors and now refuse to return grant funds to the Pepsi Corporation that were awarded to my project. I gave 30-day notice to terminate due to their material breach of fiscal sponsorship agreement and they refuse to remove my project from their website which is fraud because they are trying to collect funds in the name of my project (Erik's Cause) which is no longer a project of HIH. They are con artists and frauds.

There are now 2 Court judgments against Help is Here for taking funds on behalf of the projects they sponsored. Do not use them for sponsorship!

Help is Here ran off with about $900 of our hard earned funds that were donated to help a sick dog. How can anyone be so cruel?

I deposited $ to be used to help people who have sustained Brain Injuries. I made numerous requests for funds and was never transferred a penny. Maggie Baker is a liar and a thief. It is bad when people steal from each other, but to approach small start ups that are trying to do some good in this world and steal the money that is allowing for it, is demonic!

Please be very careful about signing up with Help is Here Inc. - talk with some of us who have had them as a Fiscal Sponsor. They took our money deposited (from well meaning donors), and will not disburse funds for intended purposes, will not give us an accounting of funds and now will not return the money now that we are trying to separate.

Help is Here, Inc is a scam. They are completely unprofessional. They take your money and never distribute the funds like they are suppose to. Maggie Baker is a con artist. She never speaks the truth. It is one lie after another. Now they won't return calls. She has stolen everyone money. Is being sued by many organizations. Is defaulting in distributing fund from a Pepsi Grant that was won by one of the causes. All she does is blame everyone else.

There are three reviews for HIH, but one of the 5 star ones is actually for The Zawadisha Fund, a project they are supposed to be helping. We have been contracted with HIH and they have not reimbursed us for one expense. They have been completely unresponsive and unprofessional. Their phones and emails were not working for over a month. Seven other organizations have experienced the same thing. We have filed with the Attorney General in AZ, a detective in AZ, a Small Claim against them, and filed a complaint with the IRS.

Help Is Here Inc. has not fulfilled any of their duties as our fiscal sponsor. To date they have not acknowledged receipt of our donations, nor have they disbursed these funds to our project. We urge anyone who is need of a fiscal sponsor to NOT work with Help Is Here. We are filing formal complaints with the IRS and the Attorney General of Arizona.

Jen Gurecki is a dedicated amazing person who manages to make time in her ridiculously busy schedule to spearhead yet another critical cause in our world - the development of women owned businesses in third world countries. Hats off to a true rock star.

For five years I tried to find a nonprofit who was willing to embrace my project and be the fiscal sponsor. Not only Help is Here accepted my project with open arms but also provided all the support I could get. Help is Here also supports other projects and they are committed to their success.
