Nonprofit Overview
Mission: The Heitz 61 Memorial Foundation promotes higher education and encourages the physical well-being and teamwork of young people involved in sports by distributing scholarships and grants.
Results: The first annual Heitz of Heaven Hockey Tournament & 5K Run/Walk was held the weekend of September 6-8 at RMU Island Sports Center. It was a great success and will allow us to begin offering scholarships in the 2013-2014 academic year.
Programs: The foundation will promote higher education and physical well-being and teamwork amoung young people involved in sports in memory of ryan heitzenrater, a montour school district student who passed away in 2013.
