I volunteered for Happy Cat for quite awhile and attended many of their fund-raising events, all of which were well done, much fun and successful. I don't know a person, much less a happily married couple, more devoted and sincerely dedicated to the health and welfare of cats and kittens needing their forever homes. In Marcia's book particularly, nothing personal in her life took first place. It was always like, "Hey, Larry, let's go rescue some poor cats and kittens from Otisville Prison and bring them home to Happy Cat." Marcia and I made two trips doing just that. Chuck, her hubby, did most of the heavy lifting, so to speak. He remained home attending to the many cats temporarily housed comfortably in their separate clean cages, with filtered heat in Winter and AC in Summer. Why the walls of Happy Cat Rescue were torn down, while Marcia and Chuck were shocked and devastated is just beyond imaginable. I am sad for them, and as sad for the cute cats and kittens who have lost their chance to find a loving, caring and happy home.
I am a volunteer with Happy Cat Rescue. Marcia and Chuck are two of the most amazing and caring people. They do everything in their power to make sure that every cat/kitten finds its forever loving home. We are in desperate need of volunteers and donations. The cat population is growing by the minute and we are doing our best to do whatever we can to help. This is a 24 hour / 7 days a week operation. We ALL love animals and hope you will join us to keep this wonderful organization going. EVERY PENNY MAKES A DIFFERENCE.
Hundreds of homeless and abandoned cats and kittens each year find a new home through our rescue - could you help us?
As a volunteer-based, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that receives no government funding, Happy Cat Rescue, Inc. relies entirely on the support of friends in the community to sustain its operations and programs. We rely heavily on the kindness and generosity of animal lovers near and far to help us do our work. We encourage you to join us and make a donation today! No amount is too small.
We accept donations in the form of cash/checks and other pet supplies, like cat food, litter, toys, blankets and baskets.
