Mission: To encourage the enjoyment of birds and wildlife and the protection of the habitats that support them.
Programs: Clean harbor program advocates for activities that will maintain the environmental integrity of grays harbor; provides educational lectures, meetings, film showings. 400 - 500 participants
shorebird festival: conduct shorebird and nature related lectures and field trips; sponsor field trips for grammar school classes to visit the grays harbor national wildlife refuge; conduct poster contest for k-12; over 700 participants.
habitat program maintains and protects approx. 3,000 acres of wildlife habitat for the benefit of plants, animals and current and future generations of humans; thousands impacted.
general membership activities include 6 meetings annually with bird/environmental speakers; 6 field trips per year, approximately 150 participants.
