Causes: Arts & Culture, Opera
Mission: The primary focus of the grand opera house of the south is to renovate and preserve the opera house and to promote the performing arts entertainment to its community and the surrounding rural communities. The opera house will present performances of superior quality, using both established and emerging artists, who will provide an enlightening experience to its audiences.
Programs: Renovations on the opera house were completed in 2008. Thus far many individuals have toured the facility to appreciate its importance to the community. Performances are held on a regular basis which is bringing various types of cultural activities and art forms to the community and the surrounding area. The opera house is beginning to draw patrons from around the united states.
