Nonprofit Overview
Mission: It is the mission of good samaritan hospice to affirm life in the midst of illness and grief. We accomplish this objective by providing quality patient care, family support, community education and counceling services through an interdisciplinary team of caregiving professionals and trained volunteers. In 2017 good samaritan provided compassionate hospice care to 766 patients in the roanoke and new river valleys, for a total of 50,729 patient care days.
Programs: To provide physical, psychological, social and spiritual care to terminally ill patients, their families and friends.
