Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animal Services, Animals
Mission: To rescue, care for, sterilize and find homes for homeless pets.
Programs: During 2014, 22 dogs & 4 cats were taken into our program and provided veterinary care, foster care and then placed into new homes. This is good for the animals as well as for the community. It reduces the spread of disease and the possibility that citizens and property might be injured by stray animals.
during 2014, 142 dogs and 158 cats were spayed or neutered through our community 'snip' (spay neuter initiative program). This reduces the number of unwanted pets and improves the health of existing pets.
