Mission: The mission of the fresno chaffee zoo is to provide a fun, unique and up-close experience that strengthens the bond between people and wildlife.
Programs: Fresno chaffee zoo is home to over 650 animals that represent over 230 species from around the world. When visiting the zoo, our visitors are able to observe our animals up close thereby providing a more personal experience. In addition, while visiting fresno chaffee zoo you are able to experience once in a lifetime opportunities every day of the year, such as feeding a giraffe or touching a shark or feeding a stingray.
at fresno chaffee zoo we take great pride in the breadth of our education programs that reach children and adults of all ages in our community. Programs such as docents, volunteers, day camp and overnight campouts help the zoo achieve our goals of educating the public on the importance of learning how to take care of the precious resources that we have, whether it be plant or animal, across our globe or in our own backyard.
