Mission: Fort hope began operation in 2000 and incorporated in 2003. Fort hope started with day events for fatherless boys between the ages of 8-12 years old. Since then it has grown and includes all at risk children, both boys and girls in foster care, homeless shelters, single parent families, children of prisioners, low income families or children raised by kin, from 7-18 yeasrs of age. Fort hope serves from 600-900 children annually with day events and taco farm camps. For hope welcomes all children and does not discriminate. The children come from a wide variety of backgroundds and histories. For hope's newest area of ministry is inhelping provide housing and foster parents for high risk youth in foster care.
