I have over 20+ with nonprofits and I have been impressed with the team at Feeding Ga Families. Led by a dynamic woman they are open to helping all. I met this team when I was looking for help for low income patients that had special dietary needs. The team is very focused on the quality of the food that is distributed.they will come in on off times if that is whats needed. They demonstrate their loving nature always. They have made a point of also caring for pets and also when possible having a clothes closet.
We love this family-led nonprofit! This local gem came to my attention back in November 2019 when they began giving food from the VFW inside Clarence Duncan Park in Fairburn. Their hearts were on full display as they focused on the elderly, children, those with super-special diet restrictions, and our veterans. When the park was shut down due to the pandemic, we quickly transitioned the operation to outdoors and have not looked back since. After many tragedies and serious health scares, the team is still out here WORKING every Monday (except Christmas) and at so many other local and long distance giveaways. Our organization and those like us thoroughly enjoy the professionalism, inspiration, and generosity shown at all times when we volunteer with the the FGF team. We are still looking for a larger building with dock space and cold storage for a more permanent home for them, so please support this nonprofit.
Our church wanted to reach out into the community to give aid, volunteer and help in any way needed. We linked up with FGAF because we found them so dedicated to the well being of folks in South Atlanta and beyond. Their no hassle, just help policy is rare but fair and good. Their dedication to give healthy foods to all and guide with links to more aid has helped me and many others at church. Genuine love for needy folks without the fanfare of expected recognition is rare too. Its our pleasure to help and work with this loving family who know nothing less than giving their hearts best to one and all.
