Causes: Developmentally Disabled Centers, Disabilities, Human Services
Mission: Our mission at Fayette Resources is to support people with disabilities in the community by providing the highest quality of individualized services, which promote independence, choice, growth, acceptance and respect.
Target demographics: adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and mental health needs
Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 225 individuals
Geographic areas served: Western Pennsylvania
Programs: We provide residential homes in local communities supported by our Direct Support Professionals 24/7/365. 1 to 4 people live in each home where individualized supports are identified and provided to help them live fully inclusive lives in their communities. Community Participation Supports (CPS) programs are offered, where people can identify their interests and pursue opportunities to volunteer, participate, and/or work in their communities. Behavior Support Services provide consultation and assessment of behavioral needs, and a team approach is organized to optimally support people in their daily lives. Individual and family counseling services support individuals with mental health needs and support family members as they support their loved ones. RESPOND program supports children with significant needs and their families by providing a fully staffed home and an array of services with a full team of highly trained professionals specializing in mental health, behavioral health, and physical health. We have a fully staffed nursing department to support all of our program participants.
