Causes: Civil Rights, Intergroup & Race Relations, Race
Mission: Help reduce prejudice and discrimination of people marginalized on the basis of sexual identity, gender, religion, race, etc. By the creation and distribution of photo-text exhibits that travel to schools, colleges, libraries, workplaces, and houses of worship
Programs: Marketed and delivered copies of seven photo-text exhibits to 33 venues including schools, corporations, houses of worship, colleges and conferences where they were seen by approximately 17,000 people. We sent our exhibit to several conferences related to lgbt rights, mental health, and race. We attended family week in provincetown, ma to help market the exhibits and have forged a new connection with parity, a non-profit in new york city devoted to working with faith and lgbt issues. We continued to work on the global project about lgbt asylum seekers which is now part of a new eighth exhibit launching in october, 2017 called building bridges. We continued to work with a local middle school to help create curriculum based on our exhibit about transgender people.
