Equally Yoked Foundation partners with universities all across the country to provide internship opportunities to college students. Some of the programs currently offered to students and volunteers alike are The Virtual Leaders Experience (this program provides a certificate of completion), a program called Photography through the lens of Diversity, Seth’s House and Feeding Families (both of which provide food to individuals with disabilities, homeless individuals, senior citizens, food-deprived, and the active recovery community).
This non-profit helps to provide resources such as reusable gowns, cloth masks, and face shields. In addition, Equally Yoked is able to provide disinfectant wipes and cleaners. This saves both time and expense procuring these items.
Equally Yoked has volunteer opportunities: You can partner with this non profit. They support and serve with organizations and people invested in building stronger and healthier families by creating spaces that educate and unify all people.
all the way amazing! It’s to bad wasn’t linked with them when I was in my 20’s. Who knows how I would have turned out. Glad they’re here today though.
there’s this program called Virtual Leaders that EY has. They certify you to lead your own virtual experience and give you the tools and a blueprint to do it successfully. The training is well thought out and professional and best of all it’s free. They partner with tons of universities all of the country and teach this to university students as well. It’s so helpful especially since mostly every company and group is moving online
It’s pretty cool that people from all different backgrounds can come together and talk about their experiences and everyone listens. At the end of the diversity training everyone knows a bit more about eachother and we feel more connected.
We want to be able to unify all cultures and one of the ways we get to do that is by educating the community.
Programs like Feeding Families under the Equally Yoked Foundation umbrella helps senior citizens and disabled men women and children get food even when there’s a storm.
There's a program through the non profit called Project Play as well as Feeding Families. It's all run by Equally Yoked Foundation. They all wear full PPE gear and do contacless through this covid craziness. They feed homeless people and less fortunate people in kcmo metro. I loved the Project Play program they teach about black culture as well as other cultures. The point is to teach white people and non black people about black culture so that they can gain a love, respect, appreciation and understanding about black lives as well. us too. I love them! They provide a college reference letter upon completion of The Project Play program as well as a certificate of completion. This organization also works with women in a (Girls in Real Life Situations or G.I.R.L.S) and also does Diversity Trainings. Their focus is empowering the black community.
