As western pennsylvania's first and only continuing care at-home membership program, longwood at home was developed, and continues to be operated by presbyterian seniorcare. Established on january 25, 1928 in the commonwealth of pennsylvania, presbyterian seniorcare is a not-for-profit, charitable organization which provides facilities, services and programs for enhancing the quality of life of older adults.
Programs: A home based licensed continuing care retirement program serving western pennsylvania. It provides healthy older adults the opportunity for continuing care without leaving their home, if desired. The program offers wellness programs, education, social events, and care coordination all at home, with the assurance of a total package of institutional long-term care if needed. Longwood at home served over 300 residents during 2017. Longwood at home provided $19,750 of community support in 2017 also.
