Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services
Mission: We provide a wide variety of counseling services to the people of Sherman Oaks, Los Angel's county and the surrounding areas, serving individuals, couples, families, and groups. Our goal is to address your specific interests and assist you in building health and well-being personally and relational. Our specialties include working with blended families, crisis intervention, cross-cultural and inter-racial families and relationships, people with anxiety and panic disorders, depression, grief, post-traumatic stress, anger management, abuse issues, stress management, and habit control. Doreen Cohanim founded the counseling center in Sherman Oaks, Ca in 2008. Others joined the team as a volunteer and we become an approved 501 C3 nonprofit in 2012. We are growing with the hope to be able to open our physical center sometime in 2020, Sherman Oaks, where we are easily accessible to a greater number of people, just off I-101 and 405. We invite you to schedule an appointment for one on one session or join our group events where your concerns are our priority.
Results: Improving many lives as we go forward. Change is available to whomever ready to invest in bettering their own lives and others. We are welcoming anyone who is interested in healing themselves and helping us by paying it forward while healing.
Target demographics: everyone who needs guidance into building confidence, physical, emotional and spiritual healing and much much more
