Mission: Emmanuel Project of Northeast Florida, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, deeply committed to delivering high-quality no cost healthcare services to the underserved populations across Northeast Florida. Our mission is to provide quality medical care to children, adults, and displaced community members, with compassion and dignity. Our devoted team of healthcare professionals are driven with the passion to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of our community members. Our mobile medical unit is equipped and allows needed medical care to be taken to the patient, removing the healthcare barriers resulting in improved physical, emotional, and spiritual health of our neighbors.
Results: The trust build with the communities we have served. Bringing our medical services directly to underserved areas, we ensure that families are offered and receive essential care without the barriers of transportation and distance. Making an impact on community health, saving governmental healthcare dollars and reducing emergency rooms visits. When we are providing access to healthcare, we are bridging gaps, improving health, and offering hope.
Target demographics: Children, adults, and displaced community members in underserved areas. We meet people where they are by bringing no-cost, quality medical care directly to those in need.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Since we launched in October 2022, we have provided direct patient care to over 700 children or adults. Our team has provided health education to schools, to organizations and as a community partner.
Geographic areas served: Clay, Duval, St. Johns, Putnam and Nassau counties
Programs: Healthcare education, healthcare advocacy and community resources. As a partner with UF Urban Health Alliance- Life’s Course: The Impact, The Load, we are a part of transforming community health by raising awareness and educating women and their families on maternal mortality, striving to change the statistics and save lives.
