The Emma Center is a great resouce. I have PTSD and they are always there for me either by phone or email. The Emma Center looks into the community and tries to connect you to services that are availble and might work for you. They do a great job getting people or orginizations in the communtiy to lend a hand and provide services for us from message to river rafting. Their in house classes offered by the supervising volunteers are great and range from dong art projects to meditation. It seems most of their classes are in the daytime, so the choices of classes if you work seem a little more limited.

As a client, I have benefited from all the different resources they have to offer. They have done a wonderful job collaborating with so many agencies/individuals/organizations. I have received support through their PTSD support groups, art therapy, massage, spiritual guidance, yoga groups, and much more. And all for free. The staff have always been friendly and sensitive to my needs as a client. They are one of the best organizations in our community. We are blessed to have Emma Center.
