Mission: In 1995, PeaceTrees Vietnam was born as a grass roots effort to bring healing, peace, and reconciliation to one of the most war-torn provinces of Vietnam, through sponsorship of landmine clearance, citizen-diplomacy tree-planting programs for Americans and Vietnamese citizens on cleared land, landmines awareness education programs for children, and building new homes and villages for Vietnamese families on formerly uninhabitable land. Our purpose is to build bridges of friendship and peace between the Vietnamese and American people.
