Our family attend Eagle Rock camp the fall of 2015. We had many struggles when we arrived and it was a tough day getting settled in. My veteran was not thrilled be there but was willing to give it a try. It most likely did not help that he had just stopped chewing tobacco only a few weeks before. Our children where so excited to be able to play with other children. Day 2 of Camp changed our lives for the better! We learned ways to communicate with each other. Which was a struggle for us. Our children realized that they were around other families like ours. We formed friendships that we hope last a lifetime. We enjoyed camp so much and believe in what they are showing families. We now give back as volunteers. Thank you Eagle Rock Camp for all you do for our military families!
The best retreat for military families I’ve ever experienced! Eaglerock strength is delivering great content, bonding with the families and providing spiritual connection as well. I highly recommend it for any military family who has a deployment experience.
Camp eagle Rock was the best experience my family has had. We learned so many things about ourselves and how to cope with stressful situations. My family did not want to leave!!
My family and I were campers at Eagle Rock 4 years ago. We knew we needed help to get back to “normal” (or a new normal) after multiple deployments. Camp gave us the tools we needed to make our family life better. The volunteers and staff were genuinely interested in helping us. They showed it by the time they spent with us. Their attention to details, from the food, to our room, to the activities, made us feel wanted and cared about. We liked it so much we decided to become volunteers. My whole family volunteers whenever we can as a way of giving back and hoping that we can help others the way we were helped. Eagle Rock is like no other! It really is a FAMILY focused week designed to teach skills a military family needs.
Eagle rock camp has helped our family to learn to look at each other as a person and as a family. It helped us learn how to communicate again. Thanks for all you do for veterans and their families!
This Non-profit is amazing. I learned alot of things to use back home and have applied some of those techniques. My children had a wonderful time as well as me and my wife. I would recommend this group to anyone and everyone.
I'm so blessed to have been apart of this camp. This camp is filled with faith, staff who truly love military and their families. My family and I were able to learn so many ways to be healthy emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I will continue to do my best to support this camp. This organization should be one of the top rated nonprofits out there! Helping so many families; by healing, learning, teaching, and bringing people together. They really truly care about their veterans, their spouses, their children and their volunteers! My family got the first-hand experience with Eagle Rock Camp and was one of the best; no actually the best organization we've been to! Everyone was so gracious and kind and families came together as an Unity. We cannot thank Eagle Rock camp enough!
Our entire family has been volunteering for Eagle Rock Camp for Military Families for the past several years. Eagle Rock realizes that the whole family serves and the whole family needs to be restored following deployment and/or injuries. We have seen so many families start to heal and reconnect. We have seen marriages saved and parents and kids enjoying time together. Eagle Rock Camp is addressing the epidemic of military families in crisis and saving not only families, but lives. We cannot say enough about the beautiful stories we have witnessed first hand.
This nonprofit gave my husband, who is a 15 year veteran who was wounded in Iraq, and our family a break from life. We were able to reconnect with each other and our children. Even after the retreat they are always there to lend an ear.
We attended Eagle Rock camp a few years ago and I have to say it changed our lives in such a positive manner. As a family Eagle Rock opened so many doors and gave me an opportunity to accept and deal with my post 9/11 issues. I will be forever grateful to Lynne for everything she does
Eagle Rock was the greatest experience we've ever had in our entire marriage!! Within the week we stayed, we learned how to grow our marriage, how to be more intentional in loving each other, I seen my 3 little girls confidence sky rocket, and most of all we got to experience some amazing things that we normally wouldn't have been able to! We had a blast at this retreat, but more importantly so many volunteers were so eagar and willing to see us succeed and to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. We created amazing bonds with every family that was there, life long friendships came out of that week. We will forever be greatful for this opportunity. We loved it so much, we will be joining Eagle Rock as volunteers in the future!
As the Founder of Eagle Rock Camp, I cannot say enough positive and uplifting things about our Team of volunteers, instructors and military families. Talk about going the extra mile! Our Team is there to follow-up as needed, provide additional resources, continue to work with families and definitely go the extra mile.
Our military families are strong, determined, precious, and simply The Best! They work so hard to learn, participate in our interactive workshops to learn and then in our outdoor recreation to practice life skills. We break the cycle of what's going on at home, don't allow electronics, and eliminate distractions. Barriers come down, negativity is shattered, marriages are rejuvenated and HOPE for the long term success of their families is restored. Our military families ROCK!

My family had the most amazing time at Eagle Rock Camp. We were able to disconnect and spend time as a family despite our busy schedules. I was a little hesitant about disconnecting but it turned out to be the best family get away we ever had. We learned a lot about real life issues. Our kids have the most amazing memories and regularly talk about our time there. Lynn does an amazing job picking families that mesh well together. We made some true life long friends. I hope to go back for a reunion in the future!
We attended Eagle in 2015 and not only did we take away valuable resources and experience but we took away lifetime support. Since attending Eagle Rock we have attended many other veteran retreats - Eagle Rock was our first, none of the other can compare in programming and follow up care. After all this time Eagle Rock is the only retreat that gets back to us with follow up and is there for our family. We know we are truly valued and love the experience we had and continue to have. The support provided is beyond compare!!!
This place was amazing. Gave us a week to bond as a family without any distractions. Great being able to bond with other military families as well. Everyone of the volunteers was so welcoming.
Like many that have gone to this retreat I thought I wouldn't like it. I was struggling emotionally with everything going on and my family was suffering. Hearing other stories that was just like ours and the feelings behind them was a eye opener. We went from sheltered and closing ourselves off to opening up and making lifetime friends with everyone we've met. This retreat was a blessing we'll never forget. It was the beginning of a healing process we desperately needed. Every military family and veteran family should have this experience. I highly recommend Eagle Rock Camp.
We attended a family retreat with ERC in the fall of 2016. It was such a great and healing experience. Things have been really rough for my family and I since I have been out of the military and this was the first time that I felt we were building a strong, healthy bond. We learned ways to communicate with each other as well as others. Thanks to ERC my family and I have a bond that continues to grow everyday and we are able to get out and enjoy life again.
My family attended Eagle Rock Camp in spring of 2015. At the time, my husband had been newly home from deployment and about to deploy again, our family was starting to fracture and we had no way to shore the dam. I had feelings that if he deployed just one more time, we weren't going to make it... not as a whole entity at least. We went to camp and we were able to reconnect as a family again, I found the inner strength that I had lost from dealing with 3 kids by myself most of the time. Most importantly, I saw first hand that I'm not alone, that other military families struggle too. Since coming home from camp my husband has deployed and come home and we were able to implement what we learned at eagle rock camp to reconnect. I have started working and making myself a priority which is something I learned I have to do while there. Our family still talks about our time at camp and miss all of the friends we made.
My family attended a week with Eagle Rock Camp in the Fall of 2016. It was exactly what was needed to really begin the healing process of life after combat. The unique experience had surpassed anything that we had tried prior to our retreat held at Camp Harrison. There is a sincere desire to help military families achieve a success in every aspect of life. ERC and the other families that we met there will hold a special place in our hearts for the rest of our lives. We are so grateful to be part of this family.
Our family attended a retreat there this past May 2016. We learned a lot of helpful information at camp that we now apply in our lives on a daily basis. From all the information we learned and the bonding that we had as a couple and with our children....it was an amazing retreat. Anyone who has the chance to go will definitely not regret it!

A few years ago in May, we were invited, approved to attend a Eagle Rock Camp family military retreat. We found this therapeutic retreat to be so close to our heart in that we lost a son that took his life due to a mental condition that he was born with. We were able to share his story privately to help others understand, that earlier, we could not at all. This is a place where new friends are made and extended family is yours to have fun and learn, to welcome your loving military hearts to help you understand one another, even better, to hopefully hang on... Know that Eagle Rock Camp is here for future forever years, yet to come, to care about you!
