Mission: Duke Hospice provides medical, emotional and spiritual care to terminally ill patients and their loved ones in a variety of residential settings, including patient's homes, nursing facilities and at our Inpatient Care Facilities in Hillsborough and Durham. Our staff works to: alleviate pain and other debilitating symptoms; helps patients and loved ones prepare for the emotional pain of letting go; and, for those who wish to, helps patients examine issues of faith in their last days. Bereavement support is offered to loved ones for a full year after death. We have served the Triangle since 1979.
Target demographics: People of all ages who are experiencing a life limiting illness.
