Mission: Delta redevelopment institute brings together public, private and community resources to promote the sustainable reuse of brownfields through the development of innovative business models, prototypes, policies and tools.
Programs: Our programs support the transformation to the green economy, community, and economic development and the sustainable reuse of brownfields by providing technical assistance to blighted communities in the great lakes region, advancing research on greener cleanups, developing plans for new reuse opportunities for brownfield sites in weak market areas, conducting training and capacity building and implementing redevelopment plans through demonstration projects.
