Mission: DCS serves as a communication access bridge between persons who are deaf or hard of hearing and the larger society. We assist with information and referral, counseling,job training and placement, advocacy, HIV/AIDS services, literacy courses, sign language interpreting, community education, support for parents of deaf infants, and health education projects jointly with UCSD medical school, all aimed at persons who are deaf or hard of hearing.
