Curriki is an awesome company providing an incredible service to educators across the country. The platform is as good as platforms with expensive licensing fees. I highly recommend Curriki and fully support their mission.

We have been working with Curriki for almost one year now. We are building imSparked, a CASEL aligned program for teaching Social Emotional Learning and life skills to middle and high school students. Our experience with the technology team has been totally awesome! They have a great product and a very talented and collaborative team. We were able to get a pilot of our product up and running in 3 months! Our content creators enjoyed using Curriki's multimedia tools to create a fun and experiential learning experience for the students and some real time dashboards for the school teachers and administrators. The program was very well received by the students and teachers and had a very strong impact on their personal development. We are very grateful for this wonderful partnership!

As a grandparent with 4 grandchildren ages, 13, 9 , 6 and 5, I love using Curriki! When we are together often after school, we talk about what they are learning, if they are having trouble in a subject or sometimes just about their homework. I look for resources on Curriki that we can do together. My grandkids like having something to work on that supplements what they are assigned and learning. As a teacher, I can attest that we all crave the tools and resources to help our students succeed. Very often, I that existing instructional websites are inadequate, too enormous or inaccurate. What I want is a one-stop shop for the resources I need, those that are teacher-tested and do not have hidden costs. Curriki addresses all of that with a system that categorizes teacher-created resources by grade level, subject and type of resource, such as video or lesson plan, and it is completely free of charge. It is so easy to find what I need – and fast!

Curriki has been a wonderful resource for my child's high school GT program. I passed it on as a resource and they have used Curriki OER in a number of ways, from encouraging kids involved in the maker movement and studying computer science, to teaching about the US Constitution and, most recently, 911. My teen has also used Curriki resources on her own to reinforce lessons she was having difficulty understanding in algebra.

Curriki got the best knowledgebase on their website. You can learn, explore and even teach something that you know with the world beyond your limits. Curriki provides a platform for experienced teachers to create/share proven online resources in the math sector. These include videos, texts, and worksheets targeted for students as well as resources such as lesson plans to support the teacher, all of which are aligned with the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics. An invaluable and well constructed resource!

Curriki provides an infinite amount of curated resources on every topic imaginable: science, math, history, technology, geology, social studies, English Language Arts, Civics, tools for teachers and more. I've referred many teachers and students to this site because of the quality of resources.

Oracle strives to advance computer science education and make it accessible to students globally. Since 2013, Oracle Academy has collaborated with Curriki to deliver introductory Java courses to tens of thousands of teachers and students. We are excited for Curriki’s new website that aims to enrich the user experience and engage the next generation of learners. The new website is designed to make it easier for teachers and students to locate and access relevant content. Users now have the ability to read reviews, get additional information, and check for standards alignment before they download resources. I sent my niece to Curriki when she was struggling with chemistry last year and what she found in the Curriki library was so helpful to her. Not only did she find a bunch of videos that helped her understand the concept she was struggling with that week, but throughout the year. She kept returning to the site to get clarification on things that confused her in class and to review for tests! I highly recommend Curriki to students in need of homework help.

In my opinion, teachers could make great use of the free resources too. In fact, I believe they are all contributed by teachers and reviewed by experts!

I'm a parent and find Curriki very useful in giving my kids homework help outside the classroom. For example, my son was having trouble with his chemistry class and Curriki offers many resources (including Khan videos) that further explain math and science concepts. I'm amazed at the creative & entertaining resources that can be found on Curriki - just saw a rap video teaching cell biology!

I love a lot of things about Curriki. A few years ago, as a teacher and pro-bono curriculum developer, I researched all the major players in Open Education Resources and decided to invest my personal time into adding content to Curriki. That the site is still functional and growing is significant, because user adoption is critical to its impact. I am reserving the last star on my rating, however, because the site (recently redesigned and improved in many ways) still has significant bugs and poor support.

This non-profit is an outstanding example of maximizing use of resources. Many non-profits in the Edu space do a little with a lot of money. These guys are a small team on a limited budget with >9 million visitors, over 50K learning resources, and is roughly 50% international. One of the best examples of "few to many" on the web. Many "for pay" edu sites, "use" Curriki's content without paying.

As a science teacher I am challenged to come up with new and different ways to present material to students. Curriki is a great source of interesting projects and videos that help kids understand science and keep them engaged.

As a fourth grade teacher, I use Curriki for lessons in EVERY subject. From science to reading.

Curriki never lets me down with up-to-date resources to use in my classroom, and saves me hours worth of lesson planning! With Curriki, there’s no reason to start from scratch!

I work in curriculum development, and Curriki is one of the sources I use to locate free content I can use. Curriki has a lot of content, and I can usually find what I need.

Curric has allowed me to place my teaching materials within the public domain at no cost to myself or other teachers. By sharing materials both student and teachers benefit.

Curriki is one of my "go-to" sites when I'm looking for something unique to engage my students. Really, they have the best content. I always find something that I can use and modify for my students. They add more and more material every day, so there is always something new whenever I visit. I always start on the homepage with their "New Curriculum" - the featured stuff changes every month. Oh, and the monthly newsletter - great stuff in there!!

Curriki has thousands of resources on a variety of subjects. I am currently watching the finance videos. I recommend the site all the time to my friends who are looking for content to help explain a particular subject to their children.

I am principal of a primary division at an international school in India. I have shared curriki with my faculty so they can turn to it to help make their lessons more interesting, more interactive, more currently topical. International education is making inroads into Asia and Africa, and curriki is a most wonderful tool to help teachers who don't have access to professional development, who have been trained with provincial resources, to open their world, and the world of their students. As we approach the 42nd birthday of Carobell Inc. , I think it is a good time to reflect on how and why it has grown from a dream to one of the top Care Facilities in the United States.
It all started in July 1969 , with two very courageous woman, Virginia Franks and Elizabeth Bell Midgett.. They saw a need and courageously opened their hearts and homes to severely developmentally delayed and medically fragile infants. They provided love and compassion that made these children grow and blossom, many outliving doctor's expectations!
Even though we changed Presidents in 1991, Vanessa Ervin continues to make Carobell,. a family environment and a place the individuals can call home. She inherited the founders vision and enhanced it with out of the box thinking, good leadership, wise financial planning, and a top notched staff. Mrs. Ervin expects excellence from everyone.
She expects the best, she gets the best, and therefore we are the BEST!
One area that makes Carobell unique is the cross training of jobs. This is an excellent strategy in case a person is out for an extended period of time, the company can still function. Another great idea is promotions within the company, this not only encourages individual growth and self enrichment, but it also helps with longevity of our staff. However; I think the main reason for it’s success is because Mrs. Ervin believes in everyone. She believes everyone has potential; from the consumers, to her staff and even me!
When I was asked to serve on the board I questioned why would she want me? I definitely didn't have a financial or business background, but she saw a potential in me that I didn't see. I have an MED background and learned about special needs from the trenches, you could say, because I am a parent of an individual that resides at Carobel. Over the years, I have grown and learned so much since I have been a member of the board. I also see how hard it is to keep an organization like Carobell going on a everyday basis. I know it is hard work, but yet every time I visit I always see such happy faces. Like a family, everyone helps one another and even the smallest accomplishments are recognized. Carobell portrays a beautiful , happy, family environment. Onlookers know that the individuals are well cared for and most importantly loved. We only hire the folks that portray self-less attitudes, are intelligent, and very caring and loving
It saddens me to think that there are still people who are not aware of this wonderful organization. Part of my job is to spread the word. I do so through news articles, and letters to different organizations, internet, and of course the best way is word of mouth. Curriki is the first step in a transformation of education. It is allowing teachers to peer-review best practice curriculum via the web. In my view... it has the most "bang for the buck" in terms of creating the environment for improvements in the way teachers teach.

CURRIKI is an extremely helpful site, where instead of the wheel being recreated multiple times, you can actually reuse and improve what already exists!

Curriki is a revolution. It is changing how we teach and learn while directly addressing issues of access and equity. Specifically, Curriki enables educators build and share the best Open Educational Resources from around the world, and build communities of practice to help them use and improve those materials. Throw away the textbook and join a community of teachers and learners sharing knowledge and experience openly, and for free.

For a mother or parent, a teacher or student, or even a school administrator, the benefits are great and the costs are time and passion.
