Mission: To promote charitable, educational, civic and social activities in connection with the values, concerns, rights, obligations, privileges and social responsibilities of county sheriffs throughout the state of colorado.
Programs: Locating and eradicating illicit cannabis (marijuana) plants and aiding in the investigation and prosecution of cases before the courts involving controlled substances; statewide training of law enforcement officers to meet continuing education requirements and to acquire and maintain proficiency in their jobs; implementation and support of the statewide victim notification system (vine).
