Causes: Hospices, Human Services, Seniors, Supportive Housing for Older Adults
Mission: To make quality hospice care available to all persons,their families, and those affected by serious illness, death and dying in our community; to advocate effectively for patients' comfort, dignity and choice; and to be recognized as the leading resource in clinical, ethical, and spiritual issues of dying and grief.
Programs: Cornerstone hospice & palliative care inc provided home-based skilled nursing care, social service, counseling and other services to the terminally ill patients involving approximately 475,384 patient days during the year. During fye 9/30/2017, the organization provided approximately $760,000 in charity care to individuals who have health care needs and are uninsured or under-insured, ineligible for a government program, and otherwise unable to pay for medically necessary care based on their individual financial and medical situations.
