Causes: Education, Higher Education
Mission: To organize collaboration among the institutions of higher education in raleigh/wake county, north carolina to serve the students, faculty and staff of the institutions and the community they share. To build on the strengths and opportunities derived from sharing the same community and build on the uniqueness and power of our particular combination of institutions, communicate the combined value of the member institutions to the community and positively connect the campuses and the community, stimulate problem solving for shared challenges on and off the campuses, and function as a clearinghouse for information and resource sharing.
Programs: Public access education television programming and administration for the city of raleigh and surrounding area. Programs are gathered from the six institutions of higher education. Programming provides educational content to the public 24 hours a day 365 days a year with no commercials.
professional collaboration and development for personnel and students for the six institutions of higher education and their key community partners, including student cross-registration, connecting with emergency management providers and shared faculty professional development.
