Programs: SOMALIA & SOMALILAND: Conflict Dynamics' Somali program supports Somalis to engage in political processes, reconcile different interests, and build lasting peace through facilitation and mediation, applied research, and direct policy support. CDI works with leaders and representatives across Somalia in a fully neutral and impartial manner. // SUDAN: Conflict Dynamics' Sudan program works to address exclusion from political, economic, and socio-cultural opportunities in order to deepen Sudanese constituencies' capacity to develop and implement options for inclusive and effective political and peace dialogue processes. // WOMEN & POLITICAL ACCOMMODATION: Conflict Dynamics' women and political accommodation program strengthens the role of women in peacebuilding by providing mediation and negotiation support to women in conflict-affected contexts. CDI works to strengthen women's capacity, build consensus around shared positions, and to promote women's involvement in governance and peace-related processes. // HUMANITARIAN ENGAGEMENT & ACCESS: Conflict Dynamics' Humanitarian Engagement and Access program provides policy guidance and direct support to humanitarian practitioners and engages access influencers, such as government and opposition group representatives, to improve humanitarian access and negotiations through processes firmly rooted in humanitarian principles and international laws and norms. // CHILDREN IN ARMED CONFLICT ACCOUNTABILITY: The Children in Armed Conflict (CAC) Accountability Initiative promotes the prevention and remedy of serious violations of international law committed against children in situations of conflict by providing trainings, technical advice, and knowledge-exchange opportunities for national and international practitioners and policymakers. // INNOVATION, STRATEGY, & RESEARCH: Conflict Dynamics' research and methodology team provides a rigorous foundation for CDI's programs by conducting research in the fields of conflict resolution, peacebuilding, and governance; developing frameworks and approaches for holistic peace practice; and providing strategic planning and program design, monitoring, and evaluation advice.
