Mission: Concordia is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that enables public-private partnerships to create a more prosperous and sustainable future. As equal parts convener, campaigner, and idea incubator, concordia is creating a new model for how a nonpartisan, nonprofit can have a global impact.
Programs: Concordia fosters meaningful dialogue, sparks collaboration, and inspires collective action by way of diverse programming throughout the year. From the annual concordia summit to a series of year-round engagement opportunities, our programming connects concordia members with thought leaders and social innovators while encouraging contribution beyond our events. As the world turned its attention to new york city in fall of 2016, concordia celebrated its sixth anniversary of supporting public-private partnerships (p3s) for social and economic impact. On september 19th and 20th, the 2016 summit convened over 2,000 participants to engage with some of the world's preeminent thought leaders and decision makers to address the world's most pressing global challenges by highlighting the potential that effective cross-sector collaboration can have in creating a more prosperous and sustainable future. Participants discussed scalable solutions to timely issues such as labor trafficking, international disaster response, and counter extremism.
