Mission: CUPS is a Christian ministry assisting communities in northeastern Mexico and the Rio Grande Valley to improve health and education, to foster a sense of community, and to provide volunteers an opportunity to serve and be served.
Programs: CUPS organizes 15-20 mission work crews annually, consisting of 10-30+ volunteers, who spend a week in Mexico constructing or remodeling health and/or educational facilities. Work Crews pay their own travel expenses, and also pay a workgroup fee to defray construction expenses, and work side-by-side with Mexican families in the served communities, enjoying fellowship while providing much needed facilities to foster improved community health. Via donations from churches, individuals, and other organizations, CUPS also funnels certain goods, such as medicines, books, etc. to promote health and education in these same communities.
