Mission: The mission of CFSA is to work with charitably minded individuals and organizations to strengthen Southern Arizona communities, now and for generations to come.

Programs: The community foundation for southern arizona (cfsa) distributed 819 grants totaling 4,719,095 from 179 funds. Seventy-eight scholarships totaling 213,857 were distributed from 33 funds. During fiscal year 2011, cfsa revamped its unrestricted grants process to better reflect the organization's mission to make a difference in the community. We focused on funding broad-impact community collaborations on issues identified by the nonprofit leadership. Additionally, cfsa has provided the ongoing capacity building support to ensure sustainability even after direct funding has ended. In fiscal year 2014, cfsa provided 122,000 to two nonprofits towards the collaborative efforts. Cfsa also granted out 220,000 to 17 different nonprofits for a grant round focused on poverty.
