Mission: Community Coordinated Child Care, Inc. (4-C) strives to ensure that every child has access to high quality care and education by empowering our communities and families through integrated support and equitable practices. Founded in 1971, 4-C is part of a network of accredited, non-profit Wisconsin Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) agencies providing advocacy and support services for children across eleven counties and as of 2022 offer additional programming as a Family Resource Center (FRC) in Dane County.
Target demographics: current and prospective child care providers, families, and young children across southern Wisconsin
Geographic areas served: Serving the Ho-Chunk Nation and the following Wisconsin Counties: Columbia - Dane - Dodge - Grant - Green - Iowa - Jefferson - Lafayette - Rock - Sauk - Walworth
Programs:
Family Resource Center Services: customized child care referrals for families searching for child care, play groups, play and learn, Parent Cafes, family newsletter.
Health and Safety Services: Family Child Care Certification, child care Pre-Licensing, Child and Adult Care Food Program.
Training and Quality Improvement Services: training for prospective and current child care provides, child care provider support groups, conference presentations, ECERS-3 observations.
Community Resources: child care data reports, Resource Room & lending library, early childhood newsletter.
