So far CIS has been great! My son is thoroughly loving it. I see it already making a difference in his grades. This is the first year for him, he's a 6th grader at Hilliard Middle Senior High School. Dr. D and her team are AWESOME! If you have a struggling child(ren) I highly recommend this program. :)
My child has benefitted so much by being able to go to the Home Work Club. She has now become and Honor Roll student and now has goals to attend college. Communities In Schools help so many students in Nassau County that have no other place to go for counseling, mentoring, food and clothes and Love. I feel if a person can give back to this organization with time or money they will be richly rewarded by seeing smiles on students faces that might not otherwise be there. Thank you CIS for all that you do. Anne Barbanel
My son was helped by Communities in Schools by attending what they call "homework club".
It was helpful to get assistance by people who know how to do the work that is required, especially in math.
It also made time at home more about family and less about the stress of homework.
Communities in School is a great Non-profit organization . They help students who feel hopeless about school work and thinking about dropping out feel more confident about going to school and bringing their GPA up.
My son received before school tutoring from Community in Schools at HMSHS.This is a terrific program.I've seen significant improvements in my son's grades, test scores, behavior and confidence.I love knowing someone else cares and is looking out for him and checking up on him.
To be honest, I really didn't know much about this organization until I was asked to volunteer. Now I know they do anything and everything to help a child achieve. Seeing the HUGE smiles all around when the results in grade improvement are announced is just priceless.
Great organization that has measurable results with the children here in Nassau County. I have met some of the youth who have been in the program and who each shared how they benefited from CIS in their school. Keep up the great work.

Community in Schools of Nassau County, FL is a prime example of an organization that works to help students succeed in school and achieve in life. They work very closely with the schools to provide additional support through several avenues (i.e. tutoring and homework help, individual coaching and mentoring, and behavior management).
They are really making a difference in the lives of children here in Nassau County!
Such a great organization!! They are a great asset to the community and have helped and continue to help so many students!
My daughter was an AB Honor Roll student in elementary school but her first year in middle school threw her a big curve ball with the amount of work required and the complexity of the work. Her grades slipped dramatically and whenever I tried to help her understand her homework it often times ended in frustration and tears. One of her teachers suggested the Homework Club run by the Communities in Schools program and what a huge help they were to my daughter! Her grades improved and so did her understanding of the work and what was expected of her! We are forever grateful to this fantastic program!
CIS is wonderful. Their after school program is just what we need to ensure our daughter completes homework every afternoon and continues to succeed in school. The volunteers are wonderful. The program is exemplary.
My son enjoyed the homework club and he's looking forward to attending this school year.

Inspiring at risk students to value both themselves, and their education is only one of the many ways middle school students grow and develop into responsible contributing members of their community. The community becomes stronger, the crime rate drops, and above all, the students gain self respect and positive self image through the programs offered by Communities in Schools Nassau County.
The contributions made by companies, and individual donors are maximized by the 100s of Volunteer hours spent working with these students, and in turn, the communities of Nassau County benefit!
Ms. Guest was a God Sent to my son in the first two years of middle school. The program help to keep him focused and to get his homework done, and to get help with some of his math work as well. The program is a must have for every student. The last year, he was able to help some other students in the program.
CIS has been a great help to my son for the past two years. He made the A-B honor roll for the first time last year and I did not have to help him with any of his homework! I would highly recommend the program to any parent with a child that is struggling in school.
CIS has been a big help especially in the tutoring program for my daughter. She is doing a lot better with the support of CIS.
CIS is a must in our community. There are children & teens who need help with school, maybe a little extra attention, and maybe a listening ear to go along with that. CIS staff members do their best to be whatever it is that each individual child needs to be successful in school and in life. They are a wonderful nonprofit agency & I am thankful they exist in our community!
Mrs Dinwiddie and her coaching staff is doing a great job of helping our students to become better citizens for the community. I applaud their efforts to keep our children interested in learning.
CIS provides a great service to children and families in the community. Hope they will always have the backing to keep going.
CIS was a huge help to our son last year at Yulee Middle School. He was able to get the help he needed and we saw his grades go up immediately. We are so thankful that this service is available in our community. If you have the opportunity to get your child into this program, do not hesitate to say yes. Thank you for all you do for my son, and of course, for all students!
I love being a volunteer at the Callahan Schools. I may be a volunteer but I learn more from the students. Being a volunteer is a great thing to do, you not only help students but the teachers too. I believe we have the Best schools here in Nassau County in Florida.
Communities in school has helped my son tremendously, I look forward to having them work with him again this year. Thank you for all that you do!!!!
my daughter has participated in the communities after school program for the last three years. It has helped bring her out with her personality and overcome her shyness. It has also helped her with her grades and able to focus on doing her homework.
My son has used Communities in Schools for the last two years and I can't say enough good things about the program! His grades are top notch due to the help he is given and also it helps him to focus on his homework without any distractions from home. Thank-you!
I have helped out at events and student/family meals and see how much CIS does for our kids and their families. Some don't have the help they need and CIS is there to provide or find the extra services that help them to do better in school and also in their life.

Communities In Schools is a super agency that works within the school system as an added support to the school, the students and their families. I have known several youth and their families who received not only academic support but food and clothing due to a loss of their home to a fire. This agency reaches out to any student to help support them in any way needed. Thank you Communities In Schools of Nassau County!!
Communities In Schools is a fantastic organization that helps students in Nassau County be successful in school and beyond. The staff are hardworking and diligent in providing whatever assistance they can to students and their families by building relationships. The programs results speak for themselves!
Communities in Schools is a great organization that helps students succeed and strive for greatness. The site directors and student service coordinators really care for the students needs. I am excited to see the future of CIS and to see the improvements within the students to become successful in their lives.
Communities in Schools of Nassau County is an amazing non-profit! They care so passionately and strongly for their students and help them to achieve in every way. I love how they are constantly looking for new ways to help their students and also how to get the community involved. The relationships built with the students are lasting and previous students always come back to share how they are doing and their successes. AMAZING PROGRAM!
Communities In Schools of Nassau County is doing big things for our students! The site directors do such a good job of making relationships with the students and doing whatever it takes to get them to succeed in school!
This program is so helpful to individual students! The one-on-one relationships that are built do so much to increase the potential of so many students who do get this type of adult support elsewhere. I have seen grades increase and overall involvement in school and school related activities soar with many students who participate in CIS.
Communities in Schools of Nassau County is doing a great job with the youth of Nassau County. One of my dearest friends' daughter participated in the program, both her grades and attendance improved she progressed to the next grade level and qualified for honors classes.
Communities In Schools Nassau is a unique program supporting students and their families to navigate academics and other barriers found in life. Students are the hardest hit in tough times. In my mind, this an unfair dynamic to them. Students need to be students. Like us adults, they need time to learn, grow, rest, defuse and just have fun. They also need support in making good decisions and good choices in how best to handle life's impact. Communities In Schools Nassau offers this support. Programs go above and beyond in academic support, career coaching and development, college preparedness, emotional support, health and fitness, teaching Life Skills, and giving a host of basic needs support. A student excels when achievement occurs. Communities In Schools gives the opportunity and tools necessary in that achievement.
As an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer serving at Communities In Schools of Nassau County, I've been able to get a unique perspective on what CIS does, and what a positive impact it has on the youth of our community. I've seen the positive change in students, both academically and emotionally. The CIS program gives students the support and positive influence they need to acheive their goals.
they have helped me improve my grades. also they have helped me get time to do extra homework. finaly they help raised my GPA.
The Communities In Schools room has helped me in doing the interview challenge, which has helped e to know what an interview is like. The people in the CIS room are helpful and supportive of the student.

Communities in Schools takes its mission of surrounding our students with a community of support to empower them to succeed in school and achieve in life very seriously.
As an advisor working directly with CIS students, I see this need on a daily basis. We know that many times students are struggling academically because they are being affected by a host of other factors.
Communities in Schools works diligently to try to address these issues as well as the students' academic needs, and it is very rewarding when our efforts result in happier, higher-achieving students.
As a LST volunteer I enjoyed inter-action with both Hilliard & Callahan students. This program affords the ability to allow students an opportunity to hear life learning skills from someone other than whom they may deal with on a day-to-day basis. One more piece of support that hopefully assist our children in the growing process. I applaud Nassau county & its effort for reaching out in an attempt to help our children transition into mature young adults......
As a Volunter with Communities in School. I found that it helps to direct our youth in being a complete person with a positive view of daily living. The tutoring program helps students excel in their classes. The Life Skill programs provides student with a means of talking about different issues if needed. It also give them the tools to make healthy decision. I have two great granddaughters that is a part of this program, It has been a big help to them. I am happy that I decided to be a part of CIS.
As a volounteer at Hilliard Middle School, I have learned about the needs of our children in dealing with life issues and I applaud the efforts of all of our volounteers everywhere.
As a volunteer in the CIS program at both Callahan and Hilliard middle schools I have been able to witness first hand the impact their programs have on at risk kids. I have seen attitudes towards school improve. CIS is there to provide support for these students and I know it is having a possitive affect on their lives. I am proud to do my small part in working with CIS as a Life Skills facilitator.
CIS is the best organization to help local children "in need".
CIS provides a climate of safety and support in an educational environment - much needed in our community.
As a donor to Communitites in Schools of Nassau County I have seen an increase in student production and decrease in the students involved discipline referrals. Dealing mainly with athletes, this program is a great avenue for student athletes to keep their required grade point averages up to be eligible to participate as well as teach study skills that will help in their academic futures, teaching them learning skills that will follow them through life. Without this facet in our school systems, our community would suffer greatly from the fallout that would be generated. A great program and asset to Nassau County!
Working with Communities In Schools is an amazing experience. It's one of those rare volunteer opportunities where you feel both fulfilled and appreciated, and that your time and efforts do make a difference. I've been involved in a variety of activities and projects, and the dedication shown by Susan Milana, the CIS staff and everyone I've worked with is truly inspiring. Their efforts enable the program to provide a remarkable range of support and services--as well as opportunites--to our schoolchildren, their families and our community. I'm glad I can be part of it all!
As a Board Member, I feel the passion this organization provides to the middle & high school students we serve. We are not just a "drop out prevention" program but we assist students with all of life's challeneges. We want students to succeed in life!!
As a volunteer, I've had the pleasure of experiencing the positive effects that the mentoring and supplemental programs have on developing our youth. a particularly impactful experience were the times I participated in their career development program. Bringing community business leaders together with students in order to better prepare the youth for future job opportunities, served to both educate the potential employees and potential employers while honing skills. Providing hope for those who may not otherwise achieve their potential is the essence of what this organization provides to our community.
Each year, I get an opportunity to review the record of CIS Nassau with the ED. They reach kids who lack almost any effective support at home, and provide feedback and encouragement to stay in school and learn. They don't always succeed, but most of the kids they serve stay in school and improve their grades. They need more resources to reach more kids.
This is the most awesome thing they have come up with to help people.I had alot of help when i attended
Communities in School helped me bring my grades up so that I could pass to the seventh grade. I have Bipolar and Depression and wasn't thrilled with school but Ms. Tammy helped me get back on track and I was promoted to the seventh grade. If there was no Communities in School I wouldn't have been able to get the help I needed to pass. Please continue to support them so other kids may get the benefit I received from them.
My child has participated in CIS for the past two years. His weaknesses are math and reading. The one-on-one instruction that he receives in math has made a significant impact upon his performance in the class and on assignments/tests. Each person has their own way of learning, what tricks help things sink in and what tools to employ to get through assignments. Your instructors have the know-how to impart their learning techniquies to CIS students to make a difference.
My daughter Brooke was in the tutoring class and it was a wonderful. they worked with Brooke thoughout the school year and helped her with any questions she had that did not get answered in class. She was able to finish the year with A, B and C's which is amazing. I love this program and hope it continues in the years to come. Darlene Armstrong
My son is one of the at-risk youth in Nassau County. This program has made a WORLD of difference in not just his grades, but his attitude as well. He has stayed out of trouble alot more also. Judy (the CMS sight coordinator) is great! She keeps me informed of not just his activities but anything else such as meeting etc. that may interest us or be beneficial to my son's continued improvements. This really is a great program and I urge anyone that needs additional help with their child's behavior or grades to check it out. Thanks!
I've been volunteering with Communities In Schools (CIS) of Nassau County since approximately 2008. Students are challenged by many aspects of life, including dynamics of academic standards, home, ecomonies, and, of course - the challenges of just being a kid! Communities In Schools lessens those challenges for these students, giving them the ambition and drive to overcome; to focus on what is important; to enjoy success, realizing they can achieve regardless of barriers that may be in their way. And you do not have to just take my word for it - emperical data shows student success, moreover, across the board. It's great to be on the side of the coin that assists in developing the future; it is much better, however, to see the kid proud, accomplished, and most of all, smiling!
As a parent of a former CIS student, I have not only seen the benefits of this program through my child. I get to see it everyday as I come to work as a volunteer. Each day dozens of kids come to after school academic assistance, where they each are making their own strides each and everyday. I know that what CIS Nassau provides for each student now will make a huge impact on their future.
I have been involved since i was 24 yrs old, I knew that i wanted to direct my time and effort to a charity that involved kids. After seeing the many different great organizations out there, i knew CIS was a place for me. The direct contact, support, mentoring and involement you can have with kids is what it is all about. Theis organization is impacting the youth of today and helping them to be succesfull in life.
um...o have benn i c.i.s. for a year now this year will be two years.it helped me alot last year.it got be on a,b, horoll.it encheraged be to do more of my work and projects.it helped me do better in school.and in many more things.
C.I.S is a big help my mom is a teacher and i have to get here early, it also helps when i get home late and cant do my homework i have teachers to help me in the morning and after our home work is over we can play games with friends i enjoy all the teachers and friends! last year i helped tutor the smaller kids it was fun. i like having something to do in the morning.
I am a parent of two children in middle school. This is my sons third year in the after-school homework club and my daughers first year. I don't know what I would do without it!! Mrs. Pimpkin is wonderful and easy to work with, any problems or issues that the kids encounter are handled quickly and proffesionally. It's good to know that we have someone like her and this organization to help our children (and their parents) get through some of the most difficult and transitional years of their lives!
I am a retired teacher and have been a paid homework tutor with CIS for the past two years. The sixth grade students I have helped not only completed their daily homework, but have utilized the time to read Accelerated Reading books, start reports early, practice multiplication tables and prepare for statewide testing through booklets and computer work.
I have been involved with Communities in Schools since the program was brought to Nassau County. This is one of the best programs for drop out prevention that I have witnessed. The staff really are involved with the children and know them on a personal level. They work with the students and encourage them to excel. I highly recommend the program to everyone.
Provides a structured environment and really motivates our daughter to focus on her work. The teachers are top notch and interact in a very positive manner. Our daughter genuinely likes them and does not want to miss homework club. The assistance it provides enables her to achieve significantly better grades.
Great organization. Excellent leadership. I am impressed with the positive differences they've made for local schools and students. The staff of communities and schools exhibits passion for their work and truly cares about the students.
Outstanding program that really makes a difference with students. This program results in better grades, attendance, behavior, and attitude towards school.
CIS has a well trained staff who are truly interested in the well being of our students. They are diligent in providing services that are individualized to meet each student's needs. Their tutoring program has been a tremendous benefit to our school.
Dr. Dinwiddie and Mrs. Loyd work tirelessly, enthusiastically, and lovingly to help students in their program, and of course these students benefit enormously from their care and concern. One example of this is the tutoring program, which is held in my facility. The number of tutored students grows constantly, and with the help of the CIS program and tutors, students can be seen working hard to improve themselves both academically and in other ways.
The Nassua County Communities in Schools organization ranks as not only an elete local non-profit contributor to the educational and social welfare of our communities' children, its local leadership provides one of the best models I have seen for a non-profit service. The participating students' grade improvement results, from the after school programs, are impressive and speak for themselves. Our community is fortunate to have such a successful and thriving program.
This program gives students the chance to get one-on-one academic help. They also meet volunteer adults with different life experiences, which helps broaden their horizons.
It is really a wonderful program! I can't wait for my daughter to be old enough to partecipate in the after school programs.
My sons attended the CIS of Nassau County afterschool program for two years during middle school. CIS provided a great place for them to work on their homework. There was an experienced teacher there in case they had trouble. Attending the program and getting most of their homework done before they came home really helped lessen the homelife busy schedule. I would highly recommend the program.
I have been actively involved with Communities In Schools of Nassau County for 13 years - serving on the Board of Directors and two terms as Chairman. I can say without any doubts CISNC is the most effective student improvement agency I have ever been associated with. We operate on campus student programs that get results and change lives - one student at a time!
I know first-hand the quality work done by CIS, and the leadership and results provided by the Nassau County affiliate. In my role as a corporate donor for one of the world's largest companies, the impact on young people's live and their families was impressive. But they also were a great partner, ensuring our corporate interests were attended to, bringing us into the process - great organization!
I used to work for CIS Nassau as a high school career coach. There are so many students--from all walks of life--who are in danger of falling through the cracks in the educational system. The work that CIS does is greatly needed and makes a real difference in the lives of the students. I was especially impressed with how actively involved CIS board members and volunteers are.
This organization is wonderful and very well run. It offers a lot of very great opportunities to students who do not get as much attention as they should. These students are the up and coming generation. They are the future and they can succeed as long as they have the resources to learn and grow. that extra care that the volunteers and staff provide really helps these students to excel beyond their wildest dreams. Keep up the great work because you are doing a wonderful job!!
CIS Nassau is a high impact program involving support from both education and community leaders in Nassau County who have discovered the CIS formula actually works! Having served for several years on a board of education in another area of the country, I was pleased to find such a professional program that's getting high marks. Of particular note is the high level of enthusiasm shown by students and teachers alike. Let's support what works!
CIS of Nassau is full of dedicated professionals working to help youth in the county. The children benefit from their hard work.
CIS is an awesome organization that meets the need of every student. This organization plays a major role in tutoring, mentoring, and coaching students at the middle and high schools in Nassau County.
I have found CIS Nassau County to be a most excellent organization. Their philosophy about truly caring for students in need of help, whether educational or personal, makes me rate CIS five stars. I personally know of a number of students who have been saved from dropping out, after participating in a CIS program for remedial help, after school and during the summer break. Jean Pitcher
I am recently a new Vista volunteer with CIS and I am very excited to work with this organization. My son has excelled in school due to the Dream Team. This program has been a lifesaver.
AS a new Americorps Vista volunteer I am excited about all of the opportunitites available for the Nassau County children to SUCCEED in School! KEEP ON KEEPING ON!!!
Exceptionally managed very well by Susan Milana who is very devoted and truly a big asset to the organization. All volunteers are eager to pitch in and donate their time and efforts to help this wonderful cause. It is definetly a team effort!
My name is Molly Jefferds and I worked in Nassau county as a Career Coach at Fernandina Beach High School and I loved every minute of it!!! I was truly inspired by this community that immediately stepped up and got involved with the students when asked. Their desire to help really made my job easy and I think it gave the students the impression that they were worth it. I am so proud of so many of the students who stepped out of their comfort zones and put their all into the Mock Interviews or took the time to really listen to a Career Speaker. These students are our future and I am so proud to have had a hand in paving the way for them.
Great organization working hard to help students succeed in Nassau County. The staff is impressive, working hard to meet the needs of students during touch economic times.
Communities in Schools of Nassau County is making a true, positive impact on the children in our community, and the future of our county.
CIS Nassau is one of the reasons the School District of Nassau County continues to be an "A" school district. By meeting the supplementary needs of our students, especially our lowest quartile, CIS improves the overall success of our schools. From basic math and grammer instruction, to teaching job interview skills, CIS does more than fill an academic void; they touch students' lives.
I had a wonderful experience teaching for and getting to know the directors of CIS. I enjoyed the work I did and appreciated all the hard work of my colleagues. they repeatedly went above the call of duty to help students prepare themselves for future careers, job interviews and other skills that are needed upon graduation.
Summer Remediation provides opportunity to make up school work and move on to the next grade. This prevents many middle school chirdren from dropping out of school.
The staff at Communities In Schools are deeply committed to the sucess of their students. You can tell that they really enjoy what they are doing.
I am a recent addition to the local CIS board. I am truly impressed with the professionalism and passion amongst all parties involved with the program. I am excited to belong to such a wonderful organization.
Served as an after school tutor in one school. Also worked as an administrator at a school where CIS was implemented. Great experiences with both programs. Great resource for our schools and our students.
Outstanding program. CIS staff works extremely well with students and teachers. Always willing to go the extra mile. Well informed about all their resources.
When I was a High School freshman ,Susan Milana visited my Life Skills class. She took one on one time with ALL students, helping us prepare resumes, perform mock interviews, and such. This helped me tremendously with many diffrent employment oppurtunities Ive experienced. Susan also took me under her wing, seeing my potential. I was hired as a Student Intern at CIS and helped with many office duties, as well as donor events. Susan and the other mentors taught me many things. In fact Susan and her entourage inspired me, despite my less than desirable background and home life, to rise above and make something of myself. I am now currently enrolled in college and living my dreams, something Susan always encouraged in me. CIS is a wonderful program, and the Nassau branch is ran in my opinion by the most caring and compassionate individual. I will always remember my experience and knowledge gained there. And once established I will be a donor to their cause.
For 10 years, I have been a board member and held various offices at CIS of nassau County FL. It is my hot-button local involvement among a number of others.
My husband and I have been donors to CIS for several years. Early in 2009, we started volunteering as tutors in the after school program at the middle school in our area.
I have volunteered with CIS Nassau for many months and am very proud to be a part of this organization and all the people who work so hard to make it a sucess. Working in the office does not always give one the oppportunity to see what CIS Nassau does, but after attending events that included both the children and their parents, it was heartwarming to see how excited and appreciative they are. To see these kids bursting with pride to be recognized for thier accomplishments and improvements is very moving. It is also moving to have parents approach me as a volunteer and want to shake my hand and thank me for being part of CIS Nassau. This team, the Board, the staff, the volunteers, the students and the parents are truly an impressive group of people working together for a great thing.
I have been associated with Communities In Schools of Nassau County for about 1 year. I was previously employed by the organization and am currently serving as a VISTA Volunteer. I have seen first hand what a diiference Communities In Schools makes and am proud to be associated with such an amazing non-profit organization!
I have been involved with CIS since it began in Nassau County. I have seen its success in the life of the students it serves. I have also seen the benefit to the schools that have CIS workers. They are a vital part of the school's services to ensure the success of a student.
My experience with Comminities in Schools was positive. Once students made the decision to check out the services provided, they were glad they did. Unfortunately, freshmen in high school are reluctant to seek help because they believe they are "all grown up" and can manuever through high school independently. That may be true to a degree, but everyone needs help with something at some point in their life. Communities in Schools is a great tool for the students smart enough to utilize its services.
I LOVE being a part of the Communities in Schools of Nassau County, FL. I volunteered last year as a tutor with at-risk children and am looking forward to committing to this volunteer effort again this year. Every student - regardless of criteria as defined by legislation, i.e, labels of "at-risk" - deserves extreme effort from all persons in order to gain achievment in academics. Issues of our society are simply too great to ignore. These kids, through programs of CIS, can and do achieve better understanding, certainly learning, and foremost appropriate growth to becomming that which will be a better prosperous society. To borrow the phrase "knowledge is power" is redundant. To excel that character development coupled with strong academics - again as fostered by all those involved in the CIS community - is truly worth being involved with. Thank you Communities in Schools of Nassau County for all you do! educationrocks09@aol.com aka Shelley
CIS of Nassau County does an amazing job at connecting at risk youth with leaders in the community. I was encouraged to be able to be a part of connecting students to HOPE. CIS offers hope to students who otherwise may feel as though there is none.
I cannot say enough good comments about this organization in particular the professional caring leader, Susan Milano. You are very lucky to have been able to secure her for your organization. Her passion for the cause is an inspiration to us all.
My involvement initially as a volunteer convinced me of the needs of our children and how everyone needed to be part of the solution
Communities In Schools of Nassau County is a valuable resource reaching at-risk kids. The staff and volunteers are passionate about their mission and very professional in communicating with the community.
Best use of funds toward programs. Their administrative costs are the lowest of any educational nonprofit I know of. But, most importantly, CIS provided much needed services to children who otherwise would go without.
CIS is an amazing program that reaches out to students who struggle and who often drop out without intervention. It teaches the value of a strong work ethic and organizational/study skills as well as academia. It would be a severe detriment to Nassau County's youth if the program was not allowed to continue.
A fantastic organization bringing real value to the kids in Nassau County by teaching them the benefits of working hard, staying in school and preparing with the skills to be successful once they graduate.
Amazed with the care and commitment of this group to the community it serves. Everyone I have encountered are very professional as well as very positive.
As a retired superintendent of schools, I was interested in the program in Nassau County. I attended several functions and visited schools to speak with students, teachers and administrators. This program is one of the best I have seen in my 40 years in public education. I was asked to serve on the Nassau CIS Board and enthusiastically said yes. The CIS Board, the school administration and the community provide excellent support for the children in Nassau whose needs range from a little help just to catch up to those students who not only need CIS help but also help from other agencies. This is and excellent program that I not only support with donations but also time.
CIS helps students in our county to succeed & grow into young productive adults. They help foster learning and show how great the power of knowledge can be.
