Clinics can help was a life saver for me. I was given a script for a walker and a shower chair by my dr and no further instructions. I went to several pharmacies and they said I have to go through my insurance. My insurance would not cover the costs. Then I found this wonderful organization and for a small donation I was able to get the durable medical equipment that I needed to improve my quality of life. The staff at Clinics can help were super understanding and so kind. I then saw that they also help children and the elerdly in similar situations as myself. There are very few organizations or services to help the adult disabled who are not yet considered elderly, but Clinics Can Help did and I am forever grateful for this wonderful place!

My son was five years old when he received a rifkin special needs bike from clinics can help, the bike has grown with him and now he is 14 and about to out grow this bike. He loves riding his bike it gives him such confidence. My son suffers from developmental delay, was born with a cleft lip/ palate is non verbal, has epilepsy a gtube to get water & meds. He is a wonderful loving sweet 14 yr old boy, he doesn't go to school so this bike has been an important part of his world to get out of the house for a few minutes and see the outside world. Thank you to Owen at clinics can help for all you do!!!!!
We have received other equipment from this organization too. We cannot say thank you enough!

Our Insurance is a NIGHTMARE. Months ago we ordered a "stander" (a standing frame) for our infant with CP, Infantile Spasms, and Hydrocephalus. WE still haven't received it, and we still don't know how much of it our insurance will cover. In the meantime, a well meaning friend gave us a wheelchair but it's not designed for an infant with CP so we donated it to clinics can help. While dropping it off and talking with Maureen, Pat, and Owen, they relayed they had an adaptive stroller that might help our son. I checked with our physical therapist and it fit the bill. I took it home the very same day. It was so refreshing to meet people THAT JUST HELP YOU! THANK YOU

When I came to Clinics Can Help I had three family members who were critically and chronically ill at the same time. All three were in wheelchairs, diapers, and hospital beds at home. I was in a lonely and needy place as a caregiver. When I walked into Clinics Can Help looking for equipment, I wept because I immediately felt supported and understood. I had found a group of people who “got it.” Until my loved ones left the earth, Clinics Can Help provided every piece of equipment I ever asked for, along with huge doses of kindness and emotional support. Life is unpredictable, and none of us knows when we will need Clinics Can Help. I will be forever grateful to this wonderful organization for so ably supporting my family and me in our time of need.
