Causes: Education, Elementary & Secondary Schools, Literacy, Parent & Teacher Groups
Mission: Our mission is to match the giving capacity of individuals and others in the private sector to the financial and material needs of public schools and other deserving entities. We will accomplish this by providing a world class catalog of supplies to teachers and administrators of public schools, provide the means by which they can select the items they need for their classrooms, provide an easy to navigate path for parents and concerned individuals to find those requirements, provide the secure eCommerce capabilities to allow the tax deductible funding and purchase of items to fill those requirements, and ensure delivery of those items directly to the teacher, classroom or school. Our goal is to build an infrastructure where the private sector can directly fund true needs in the classroom.
Programs: We provide the following in fulfillment of our mission: An on-line catalog populated with classroom supplies A user interface for teachers, administrators and advisors to build their Wishlists A user interface for parents to find their child?s School, Teacher and Classroom and identify the items from that Wishlist they would like to donate toward. The parent sees exactly what the teacher has determined they need, decides if the offered price is competitive, and chooses the amount they want to spend or the product they want to buy.
