Mission: Older children, adolescents and teens, living in underdeveloped countries who have grown up in orphanages or in severe poverty enter adulthood with little chance of success or survival due to their lack of education or employable skills. Childvision raises funds to support local NGO''s that provide job and life skills training and education to these children and teenagers. By partnering with local NGO''s with a solid track record of success, Childvision helps more children receive support without duplicating services.
Programs: Childvision serves its target population by identifying effective local programs already operating in underserved areas and assisting them to fund specific needs supporting job and life skills training and education. In Vietnam, Childvision has provided funds for Kids First Vietnam to build a dormitory and a water tower. In Guatemala, Childvision is helping Casa Guatemala improve its infrastructure. Each year an additional recipient is identified for a specific project consistent in Childvision's mission.
