Children of the Nations is one of those ministries that does what they say. They are transforming the lives of young boys and girls in Africa and the Caribbean, educating, training, discipling and encouraging them to be change agents in their communities.

Having traveled to each of the countries they serve, I can vouch for the unique and effective way the program is run (by nationals) and how the work has impacted children and families. After 25 years, COTN is seeing students graduate with the skill, ability and capacity to change their nations.

I would encourage you to join me in investing in this amazing work. They have had a 4 star rating with Charity Navigator for several years, and having reviewed their annual reports and audits, the donated funds are indeed being used wisely and appropriately. Check them out at www.cotni.org.

Our family got connected with COTNI 9 years ago when we started sponsoring a girl in Uganda. We regularly send her letters and receive letters from her. We also get updates on the work being done in every country where COTNI has a presence. Then, a year ago, I was able to take a trip to Uganda and meet the girl we sponsor. I learned about how she's been taught and how they utilize people in country to run and plan every next step. I'm so impressed by the work they do and their transparency in doing it.

I have been to Uganda, The Dominican Republic, and Haiti with Children of the Nations. They understand how to help without hurting. I have been to Uganda over 20 times and seen first hand the impact and life change that is taking place thru their programs. I cannot say enough about this incredible organization.

COTN has such an amazing heart to serve our Lord in a way that goes above and beyond the basics. They don’t just help kids, which they do very well, but they change communities to see God in everything by providing life skills that the community benefits from. I saw this first hand when I visited Lira. Uganda is in need of a lot of help, in the eyes of Americans, but they do so much with the little they have. COTN provides love, hope and a heart for Jesus that can be seen in the joy of the children. JOY is felt early in the morning as they rise by singing, throughout the day as they study hard and into the evening as the are still studying and praising Jesus. COTN is changing lives in Uganda by helping the children, and in return they help the country.

These kids are truly amazing. I traveled to Uganda summer 2018 , and saw God in ways I didn’t know possible. I heard so many stories from the children and staff of Gods faithfulness. Through the donations I was able to see these kids not only get a place to sleep and food to eat but see them get an education! We visited one of the girls in school away at College. It was so amazing to see the genorisoty of others make that way for this young girl. I can not want to go back summer 2018 and hugs my life long friends.

We have been sponsoring for over 10 years with COTN and had a wonderful relationship with our "kids!" This summer we even got to visit in person. I love the whole child approach to mind, body and spirit wellness and support that COTN provides. Our sponsored child said it best, when she remarked that COTN has saves THOUSANDS of lives.

I began my relationship with COTN in 2013 via child sponsorship. I have since sponsored two additional children and traveled to Uganda to visit my sponsored kids there SIX times, leading 2 teams myself!
I sponsor kids through two other larger, more popular organizations, but neither has come close to connecting me to those directly impacted by my contributions like COTN has. I’ve even taken two of my daughters to Uganda with me. COTN makes it super simple. They walk you through every step, answering whatever questions you have!
COTN and the staff and kids in Uganda have become my extended family. I can’t say enough about them!
