Causes: Camps, Recreation & Sports, Sports, Swimming & Other Water Recreation
Mission: The Center began in 1974 with grant funds with the intent of identifying the leisure needs of disabled individuals in southern Maine. Since that time, over 2700 children and adults have participated in a wide range of active and passive activities. All programs are community-based. The goal of the program is to teach individuals with disabilities how to use community programs and merge in the mainstream.
