Mission: The mission of Capture the Dream, Inc. is foster hope, love, and support to capture dreams. We strive to interpret your dreams, invigorate you to achieve them, and initiate contagious inspiration. Thousands of Bay Area school children are forced to drop out each year due to financial hardship and neglect. We foster hope, love, and support to youth at critical time periods to empower them to overcome adversity and achieve their dreams. Our outreach program delivers financial aid to low-income families, single-parent homes, foster children, and children recovering from traumas. We support youth development and leadership advancement through mentoring, education, arts, and cultural programs. And our special events celebrate the community of dreamers we're building, one dream at a time.
Programs: Capture the Dream, Inc. conducts several programs year round such as our Capture a Dream program that provides gifts to low income children related to their dream career. Our Interpret a Dream program offers mentorship facilitation between young adults and mentors in their career of choice. In addition, Capture the Dream, Inc. offers scholarships, school supplies, and Adopt a Family gifts.
I had the opportunity to meet with the individuals that power this all volunteer organization. Oh boy I was so impressed as to how organized they were for such a young organization with a great cause. Dreampack and Dreamcatcher programs are so innovative.
