Mission: Founded in 1973, bristol elder services, inc. Is a private non-profit corporation, designated as an aging services access point and an area agency on aging. Bristol serves as the entry point for elder services in southeastern massachusetts.
Programs: Home care: prevent institutionalization so that low income and frail elderly can avoid costly nursing home environment and can receive services from home. 2054 unduplicated clients served.
senior care options provides a health plan for low-income seniors who qualify for both medicare and medicaid. 2071 clients served
title iii: community based programs and meals on wheels. Approximately 235,000 meals served, and 3569 clients served
social services to elderly clients. During the fiscal year provided the following services:1184 assessments, 7877 activities in protective services, 107 pca clients, 128 long term care clients, and 4 veterans.
