I went to this Montessori when I was around six. Kids weren't nice to me and I did not learn as much as I needed to. My experience was miserable and I ended up transferring schools after first grade. I was not happy, was not guided, and did not receive help or received minimal help when I told adults about the kids who made fun of me and insulted me. This might have just been my experience, but if it isn't I honestly wouldn't be surprised.

Mission: Bright water inspires passion for learning in an intentionally diverse montessori community.
Programs: Bright water seeks to be a school without an achievement gap and a model for north minneapolis. Bright water is inspired by the educational philosophy of maria montessori and sets high expectations for all children. In partnership with parents, we guide children to develope their individual gifts while preparing them for life in a cooperative community and a changing world. We nuture independence, love of learning, cooperation, creative thinking, and respect for self, others and the enviornment. This is our mission and vision and this guides our enrollment policy. We seek a diverse and committed group of families for our school, and we encourage all families to apply. We do not discriminate based on gender, race, religion, national origin, economic status, or family structure. We consider each application that is sent to our school. We give preference to families who live in north minneapolis and who reside with the school neighborhood. We give preference to siblings of students enrolled in the school when we are able. We have mixed age preschool classrooms for our toddler community (12 months through 3 years) and our children's house classes (33 months to 5 years).
