In the darkness of autism journey,Bridgeway house is trying to shine the light and brighten the lives of the children and the family. We hope that it gets the support and the staffing it needs to contribute more to the special needs community. We are thankful for the services it offers including ABA therapy ,speech and OT and also the school for the school age children.
Bridgeway House began as a nonprofit serving children with autism and offering (among other services) "biological treatments and therapies". At that time the Executive Director and founder believed in chelation therapy and other biological methods of lessening the symptoms of autism.
Originally started with a Board of parents who have children on the spectrum, it is now chaired by a pharmaceutical representative.
Bridgeway House may have started by helping children in the community who have autism however, big pharma interests are now heading the organization.
The Bridgeway House is a great place for children to get the education they need. I love the way this school meets every child's needs to achieve a goal to every potential.
