Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Counseling, Crime & Law, Group Homes, Human Services, Inmate Support, Mental Health

Mission: Bridge of faith strives to change the generational cycle and status-quo that exist for girls who were victims of inadequate parenting and the results of the foster care experience. We provide a safe home (home, opportunity meets emancipation), emotional support, and life-skills to girls who have aged out of foster care and women facing homelessness. Bridge of faith makes a positive impact by helping women to become women of purpose within their communities.

I worked at this organization and it really gave me perspective about others. Very unique people walked into the “thrift store” and each of them had a story. They always shared a story with the cashier Erma and would also tell her how their lives are going. Erma and the owner, Carol have seemed to build strong bonds with the various people who walk into their establishment.

Bridge of Faith (BOF) has a sense of unity that transcends through all parts of the organization; from the board meetings, to the HOME, everyone is treated like family. Providing a sense of family, safety, and permanency, is how BOF's program sets itself apart.

Having been part of Bridge of Faith for over 9 years as a board member, I have seen, first hand, the impact on girls and women embraced by all that is made available to them.

Bridge of Faith homes have become places of safety and refuge, where love and compassion go along with guidance and encouragement.

Those who are willing to take advantage of these opportunities have found their lives changed forever.
