I worked at this organization and it really gave me perspective about others. Very unique people walked into the “thrift store” and each of them had a story. They always shared a story with the cashier Erma and would also tell her how their lives are going. Erma and the owner, Carol have seemed to build strong bonds with the various people who walk into their establishment.
Bridge of Faith (BOF) has a sense of unity that transcends through all parts of the organization; from the board meetings, to the HOME, everyone is treated like family. Providing a sense of family, safety, and permanency, is how BOF's program sets itself apart.
Review from Guidestar
Having been part of Bridge of Faith for over 9 years as a board member, I have seen, first hand, the impact on girls and women embraced by all that is made available to them.
Bridge of Faith homes have become places of safety and refuge, where love and compassion go along with guidance and encouragement.
Those who are willing to take advantage of these opportunities have found their lives changed forever.
The best part in being part of Bridge of Faith is see personally the difference that we can make in somebody life.
They come to Us with insecurity not sure what to do or even what they want and little by little they start growing and developing into beautiful women that are forever part of our family
The other part of Bridge of Faith is the store Up Scale were a 2 years old kid can find theirs favorite toy the mother can find the shoes that she was looking for, the father can get a good book at the same time look for a new couch for the living room than and get all of the above for less than $100 Is a pleasure to be part of this dream!
