Causes: Boys & Girls Clubs, Children & Youth
Mission: With a special concern for the disadvantaged and equal concern for the problems and growth needs of all youth, it is the purpose to provide relevant and everyday programs which are based upon principles of behavioral guidance and upon components of the youth development theory which contribute to the total development of all participating youth.
Programs: Character and leadership development, emphasizing interpersonal relationship-building, self-image and contribution to the community; education and career development, teaching basic educational disciplines and technology; health and life skills, encouraging goal-setting and self-sufficiency; the arts, nurturing creativity, cultural awareness and appreciation for the arts; and sports, fitness and recreation, developing physical and social skills, stress management and appreciation for the enviroment.
