Mission: To care for the physical and emotional needs of the Jewish ill and elderly and their caregivers in the Greater Washington DC community as well as those who travel to the area for medical treatment.
Target demographics: the sick and their families in the Jewish community
Direct beneficiaries per year: hundreds of clients by sending over 1900 meals to families facing medical crises
Geographic areas served: The Greater Washington DC / National Capital Region
Programs: Kosher Hospital Pantries, Medical Equipment Loan, Friendly Visitors, Transportation to medical appointments, community education, kosher meals and respite assistance
